The Ancient Difference
Suet is the hard fat around the kidneys of cattle. While many tallow skincare companies use cheaper, lower quality scrap fat from anywhere in the animal, we only use the highest quality 100% grass-fed & finished suet. No shortcuts, we properly render our suet into tallow using a slow melt over low heat. Our high quality fat rendered low and slow results in:

The only product that has soothed the psoriasis around my eyes! My skin used to crack and split and be irritated for weeks. Other products would cause my skin to burn or it would smudge into my eyes and make them irritated and blurry throughtout the day. The Gentle Balm instantly soothes the skin and I haven't had cracked skin once since using it. I can even rub it into the skin between my eyelashes and into the delicate inner corners of my eyes. Been a lifesaver for sure.
This stuff is amazing! I am obsessed with this product. I’ve been using it for over 7 months now and I will continue to re order. I have always liked the idea of moisturizing my face but rarely did. This product fully changed that. I use it every night and love the way my skin feels. I have tried other tallows including ones I had seen on IG and another that had amazing reviews on amazon but neither came close in comparison. This Ancient tallow is amazing. I’ve also tried other products from ANCIENT, 2 body and the general face… they were all excellent but this face balm has me hooked!!
Now a part of my daily skin care routine. I first came across this product at a festival, there was a rave about tallow so I thought to give it a try. Now after six months, I’ve gone through an entire jar and I don’t want to live without it. It’s a foundation for maintaining moisture in my skin throughout the day. I layer the tallow, then add blue lotus Egyptian oil, and then place makeup/foundation over it. It’s great, highly recommended.
Daily Ritual! About a year ago my face started getting very dry patches around my eyebrows and the sides of nose. Thought about seeing a derm, but after using this product regularly I do not see any of that dryness even on the days I am in a rush and forget to apply the balm! Very grateful
Rock climber’s dream balm! This is the best balm I’ve used. The balm smooths hands but keeps calluses so that your hands remain strong. I haven’t had a skin tear from climbing since using. So happy to have found this, I am a user for life!!
Game changer. Wow wow wow. I picked up a jar of gentle balm because I had a type of eczema and my skin is blotchy with sun spots. I met the owner at Farmers Market in Delray. Decided to chance the balm, we’ll let me feel you my face looks fabulous and eczema is gone!!! I also applied to my neck and my lines have become minimal. I absolutely love this cream. I lived so much I brought my friend the next weekend to introduce her to the product. Love love love.
Best Sunblock! I recently purchased sunblock from Ancient Tallow and I'm thoroughly impressed. The tallow based formula is nourishing and provides great protection to my skin without feeling greasy or heavy. I love that it is made with the highest quality ingredients and feel guilt free using all of these products on my kids. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an effective, natural sunblock!
Best Balm Ever! Where do I even start? This lip balm is luxurious and effective, isn’t sticky or chalky, and does its job well! The size of the balm is excellent and it feels substantial in your hands, as well as the surface area being large enough to coat your lips thoroughly. I have now used them as stocking stuffers and ordered extra for my office, and I’m sure will find more places to keep or gift them soon! Share

Amazing! This has changed my skin. Being pregnant with our second baby, my skin responded totally differently than our first. I was breaking out everywhere. ... My esthetician recommended this product, and as soon as I started using it, within 3 days, my skin cleared and was the softest it’s felt in a long time. Best tallow butter I’ve tried! The light lavender scent covers the usual tallow beefy scent most other tallow butters have. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and the lavender isn’t overpowering at all. The actual tallow butter isn’t too greasy. I was waiting to do this review for warmer months to see if it’s too greasy but it’s great! Not greasy, absorbs well. I also use it for my face and it doesn’t cause breakout or clogged pores. I’ve tried other tallow butter brands and this is the best one I’ve tried. Love this!
